Bookkeeping & Full-Cycle Accounting

As a business owner, you have a choice to make.  When it comes to managing your time and business, you can spend it growing your business or spend your time getting caught up in the day to day detail and paperwork.  Smith Accounting & Associates can handle this for you on an ongoing basis.  Our monthly and/or quarterly services include all financial data entry from your banks, credit cards and cash transactions, reconciling all balance sheet accounts, preparing and posting adjusting journal entries, compiling the general ledger and generating financial statements.

Complete Payroll Services

We offer payroll services that are sensitive to your needs. Provide us the with the appropriate federal and state exemptions (if applicable), rate of pay, employee hours and any payroll changes and we will do the rest. We will prepare your payroll for pickup, delivery or direct deposit. Receive all pertinent payroll reports for each period processed, as well as inform you of timely tax payment requirements.  We will prepare your quarterly and annual payroll tax returns.

Quickbooks Accounting Review

Perhaps day to day accounting functions are maintained in your office to give you a better idea of your finances inhouse.  We can simplify things on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis to ensure your books are in order and provide you with accurate financial management reports. This process also enable you to receive a more accurate and timely filed corporate income tax return.  We do this by analyzing the balance sheet, income and expense accounts and making necessary adjusting journal entries on your Quickbooks backup file.

Organizational & Operational Review

We view our client's accounting with a wholistic approach and have learned over the years that every component of your business structure has a direct impact on the organization's finances. We've designed an assessment that has been extremely benefical to churches, non-profit organizations and small business clients providing an in-depth view of the organization's current status.  This assessment serves a dual purpose to educate the client on matters of compliance and provide specifics that will allow us to target and prioritize the need.

The review is a vital component for all of our new and existing clients that is conducted on an annual basis to assist us to work as a team to improve the organization. In additon, we provide this assessment as a service to for profit owners seeking a better understanding of their company's organizational and operational needs.
